I create a visual record of objects that have outlived their original purpose, suspended between function and decay. I am interested in the moment when things lose their original identity and become part of an ongoing material cycle. Rather than disappearing, they transform and take on a different status.

I use recovered materials, discarded everyday objects and organic remains, exposing them on vintage silver gelatin papers and X-ray films. Long exposures, lasting days or even weeks, allow me to observe gradual transformations and the passage of time. The works are created on my balcony, where the objects are exposed to changing light, weather and temperature. The environment becomes an active part of the process, introducing unpredictability and allowing time itself to shape the image.

The object and the image undergo parallel processes. As the physical material changes, the photographic image records these transformations over time, becoming a trace of material change, presence and memory.

My practice combines experimentation with a reflection on fragility, impermanence and the changing status of things. I am interested in intermediate states, when form loses its stability and the process remains open.

Tworzę wizualny zapis przedmiotów, które utraciły swoje pierwotne przeznaczenie, zawieszonych pomiędzy funkcją a rozpadem. Rejestruję moment, w którym rzeczy tracą swoją pierwotną tożsamość i stają się częścią nieustannego obiegu materii. Nie znikają, lecz przekształcają się i przyjmują inny status.

Wykorzystuję odzyskane materiały, wyrzucone przedmioty codziennego użytku oraz pozostałości organiczne, które naświetlam na vintage’owych papierach srebrowych i błonach RTG. Długie ekspozycje, trwające dni, a nawet tygodnie, pozwalają mi obserwować stopniowe przemiany oraz upływ czasu. Prace powstają na moim balkonie, gdzie przedmioty są wystawione na działanie zmieniającego się światła, pogody i temperatury. Otoczenie staje się aktywną częścią procesu, wprowadzając nieprzewidywalność i pozwalając, aby sam czas kształtował obraz.

Przedmiot i obraz podlegają równoległym procesom. Wraz ze zmianą fizycznej materii fotograficzny obraz rejestruje te przemiany, stając się śladem transformacji, obecności i pamięci.

Moja praktyka łączy eksperyment z refleksją nad kruchością, przemijaniem i zmieniającym się statusem rzeczy. Interesują mnie stany pośrednie, momenty, w których forma traci swoją stabilność, a proces pozostaje otwarty.
