Izabela Nowak is a lens-based artist from Poland. Graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics – MA 2005, in 2008 postgraduates Cultural Studies at Warsaw University. In 2011 she accomplished European Academy of Photography in Warsaw.
Her approach to photography meets her interest in functions of human memory as well as changes and processes caused by time. She analyses the closest surrounding, trying to find ambiguity and other layers and meanings of reality. Her practice applies to alternative and experimental photography techniques, analog printing processes but also new possibilities of the digital era.
