Izabela Nowak is a Polish lens-based visual artist. Her work explores time, impermanence, memory, and human connections. Drawing on science and the natural world, she reflects on the fragility of life and the boundary between the physical and the metaphysical.
Employing diverse methods, including alternative photographic techniques, archival research, and collage, her practice pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Her work has been internationally awarded and recognized, and presented in numerous group exhibitions and festivals, including Fotofestiwal Łódź, EMOP Berlin, Zrno Skopje, and Foto Art Festival Bielsko-Biała.
She holds a Master’s degree from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and completed postgraduate studies in Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw. She is also a graduate of the European Academy of Photography. A member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF), she lives and works in Warsaw.

Izabela Nowak to polska artystka wizualna pracująca z fotografią. Jej twórczość koncentruje się wokół zagadnień czasu, przemijania, pamięci oraz relacji międzyludzkich. Czerpiąc inspirację z nauki i natury, przygląda się kruchości życia oraz granicom między światem fizycznym a metafizycznym.
W swojej praktyce wykorzystuje różnorodne metody, w tym alternatywne techniki fotograficzne, archiwa oraz kolaż, poszerzając granice narracji wizualnej.
Jej prace były wielokrotnie nagradzane i prezentowane na międzynarodowych wystawach oraz festiwalach, m.in. podczas Europejskiego Miesiąca Fotografii w Berlinie (EMOP), Fotofestiwalu w Łodzi, festiwalu Zrno w Skopje oraz Foto Art Festival w Bielsku-Białej.
Posiada tytuł magistra Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie, ukończyła studia podyplomowe z kulturoznawstwa na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim oraz Europejską Akademię Fotografii. Jest członkinią Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików (ZPAF), mieszka i pracuje w Warszawie.
